Embark on a Wildling Adventure

At Little Wildlings, we don’t ask children to fit into a system — we shape the environment to fit the child. We honour each child’s individuality, curiosity, and natural pace of learning, creating an environment where they feel understood, valued and empowered.

Here, the wild becomes the classroom.

Children climb, build, create, explore, rest when they need to, follow their interests, and discover who they are through real experiences.

We deeply welcome neurodivergent children, free spirits, deep feelers, and outside-the-box thinkers. This is a space where movement is encouraged, questions are celebrated, and connection matters more than compliance.

Little Wildlings is not just a program. It’s a community that sees every child  not as someone to manage, but as someone to understand, nurture, and champion.

Welcome to learning as it was always meant to be: hands-on, heart-led and wildly free.

Wildling Playgroups

Our little playgroup has been a dream in the making. Built on a love of nature, child-led wonder and the sensory play that connects us back to the earth (and each other).

We believe:

🌱 Nature is the most magical classroom

🧡 Connection is at the heart of everything

🌈 Sensory experiences open up the whole child—mind, body, and heart.

Our sessions are slow, playful, inclusive and wild—in the best way. Whether you’re joining with a baby on your hip or a fearless four-year-old explorer, there’s a place for you in our community.

Let the muddy feet, leafy hands, and wide-eyed wonder begin.

Wildling Academy

Our Nature Academy Day Retreat is a full-day outdoor experience designed to honour the natural rhythms of childhood and the land. Rooted in a homesteading approach to care, this retreat invites children aged 2.5 to 5 years of age into a space where play is purposeful, time is unhurried, and connection is at the heart of learning.

Children are free to follow their interests—whether that’s feeding animals, helping in the garden, building with natural materials, or quietly observing the world around them. Some children thrive in movement and hands-on tasks, others need calm, sensory-rich moments and our rhythm honours them all.

This approach supports each child’s unique needs while nurturing a sense of responsibility, cooperation, and belonging. Through shared experiences, real-world learning, and the rhythms of nature, children develop deep, lasting connections to themselves, each other, and the world they’re part of.

Guided by simplicity, presence, and care, our retreat blends bush play, seasonal tasks, creative exploration, and rest—offering a nurturing space where families can slow down, reconnect, and grow together.

Homegrown Wildlings

At Little Wildlings, we're excited to be developing Wild Minds Homeschool Academy – a unique space designed especially for school-aged children to connect, create, and explore through hands-on, outdoor learning.

This program will offer immersive, real-world experiences where children can learn vital life skills while having fun and building confidence. From lighting fires and building shelters to cooking outdoors, making candles, and mastering bushcraft, Wild Minds will offer a rich and meaningful alternative to traditional classroom learning.

Our sessions will focus on:

  • 🔥 Fire safety and lighting

  • 🛖 Shelter building with natural materials

  • 🍳 Outdoor cooking and foraging basics

  • 🌿 Bush skills and environmental awareness

  • 🕯️ Candle making and traditional crafts

  • 🪵 Homesteading skills and seasonal activities

We are currently working behind the scenes to bring this program to life – and it’s going to be something truly special.

Be the first to know when we launch!

Make sure you sign up to our mailing list so you don’t miss any updates about session dates, enrolment info, and sneak peeks behind the scenes.

We can't wait to welcome your wild minds into a space where they can thrive through curiosity, connection and adventure.
